The Shelton City Commission has authorized adding the City’s cost of the 1st and Railroad landscaping project to the 2012 budget. The group SAVER (Shelton Alliance for Viable Economic Revitalization) plans to complete aesthetic and safety improvements to the northwest corner of the intersection. Two men target shooting at Belfair Auto Wrecking Yard set off an explosion and started several fires early Monday morning. According to reports, the two men are employees of the wrecking yard in the 11,000 block of Highway 3 near the Mason/Kitsap County Line and were shooting guns about 1:30 AM. The average price of gas in Washington has dropped 20 cents in the last week. GasBuddy.com reports the State’s average at $3.74 a gallon while the AAA auto club has the average at $3.78.
