A Flood Watch is in effect for the Skokomish River and rivers running off the north/central Cascade Mountains. And a Wind Advisory is in effect for the Puget Sound and Washington Coast.

According to forecasters, flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible through late tonight (Sat. Nov. 1, 2025).

Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

One and a quarter to two and quarter inches of rain fell overnight in the Olympics and Northern and Central Washington Cascades. Another one to one and a half inches is forecast for today. Snow levels will remain high, near 8000 feet. The rivers of most concern are the Skokomish in Mason County and the Skykomish in Snohomish County.

The Wind Advisory is in effect until 1 PM this (Saturday) afternoon.

South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicles. Secure outdoor objects.
