The following is police activity in Mason County reported from Saturday, August 31, 2013 to Friday, September 6, 2013.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a “water related incident” that resulted in a sudden death on Lake Cushman.
The Sheriff’s Office is also looking into burglaries in the 200 block of NE State Route 300 in Belfair, in the 100 block of E Cedargrove Lane in Shorecrest, in the 1000 block of E Benson Loop, on E Point Wilson Road on Harstine Island, and in the 100 block of W Sentry Drive.
Deputies are checking into assaults in the 100 block of E Country Club Drive in Alderbrook, in the 400 block of NE Gladwin Road in Belfair, in the 200 block of E Campus Drive in Belfair, in the 2800 block of E North Island Drive on Harstine Island, in the 300 block of SE Mill Creek Road, and in the 1800 block of W Deegan Road East.
Domestic assaults were reported on N Twana Court on the Skokomish Reservation, on E Olympic Drive on Mason Lake, and on E Aspen Court in Timberlakes.
A sex offense was reported on E Road of Tralee in Lake Limerick.
A motorist attempted to elude deputies at the intersection of W Cota Street and S 7th Street in Shelton.
The Shelton Police Department is investigating burglaries in the 200 block of W Harvard Avenue, in the 600 block of W Harvard Avenue, in the 2300 block of Callanan Street, and the 2300 block of Jefferson Street. Officers are also an assault in the 1000 block of W Cota Street.
A person was reported missing in the Dry Creek area northwest of Lake Nahwatzel, in the 5000 block of E State Route 106 in Union, and on NE Harpoon Drive in Belfair.
A sudden death was reported in the 800 block of E Old Ranch Road north of Allyn.
Traffic collisions were reported in the 200 block of N Fairway Drive West near Lake Cushman, on N Lake Cushman Road in the Olympic National Forest, at the intersection of NE Sand Hill Road and NE Belfair Manor Drive, in the 18,100 block of E State Route 3 in Allyn, in the 4300 block of E Grapeview Loop Road, on W Railroad Avenue near the intersection with U.S. Highway 101, at the intersection of E Cota Street and S Front Street in Shelton, at the intersection of S 1st Street and W Cota Street in Shelton, in the 2100 block of Olympic Highway North in Shelton, in the 100 block of E Wallace Kneeland Boulevard in Shelton, on E Wallace Kneeland Boulevard in Shelton, and at the intersection of E McEwan Prairie Road and E Brockdale Road.
Weapons complaints (noise) were filed on W Skokomish Valley Road, on N Tyee Place near Lake Kokanee, in the 100 block of NE Old Belfair Highway, in the 400 block of NE Larson Boulevard in Belfair, in the 100 block of NE Lorrain Court in Belfair, in the 300 block of NE Dewatto Road near Tee Lake, in the 100 block of E Rasor Place, on E Shetland Road, on E Hammersley Place in Timberlakes, in the 2100 block of Lake Boulevard outside Shelton, on E Woodland Drive north of Shelton, and in the 1600 block of W Hurley Waldrip Road.
Thefts were reported from W Skokomish Valley Road, from E Bourgault Road in the Skokomish Valley, from N US Highway 101 south of Hoodsport, from the 600 block of NE Gladwin Road in Belfair, from the 100 block of NE Mission Creek Road in Belfair, from the 300 block of E Happy Hollow Drive, from E North Bay Place near Allyn, from the 100 block of E Olympic Court north of Allyn, from E State Route 3 between Allyn and Belfair, from E Victor Road, from the 2600 block of E St. Andrews Drive North in Lake Limerick, from the 100 block of E Clonakilty Drive in Lake Limerick, from the 900 block of E Mikkelsen Road, from the 400 block of E Mikkelsen Road, from the 3600 block of E Harstine Island Road North, from E Vaughn Place in Timberlakes, from the 2200 block of SE Arcadia Road, from the 6300 block of W Shelton Matlock Road, from the 200 block of SE Arcadia Road, from the 1100 block of Ellinor Ave in Shelton, on Arcadia Avenue in Shelton, from the 100 block of E Wallace Kneeland Boulevard in Shelton, from the 2400 block of N 13th Street in Shelton, and from the 100 block of W Blueberry Lane.
Vehicles were stolen in the 100 block of SE Emerald Drive off Lynch Road, in the 1200 block of SE Crescent Drive near Fawn Lake, in the 400 block of East E Street in Shelton,
Stolen vehicles were recovered on W Kelly Hall Road, on NE Bald Point Vista Road, and in the 200 block of Mable Taylor Lane in the Kamilche area.
Car prowls occurred on NE Boad Haven Road near Belfair, in the 1600 block of Olympic Highway South in Shelton, and on E Northlake Drive west of Island Lake.
