The Mason County Sheriff’s Office says a Level 1 Sex Offender has recently returned to Shelton and is now registered as homeless. According to a bulletin, 33-year-old Adam Lee Inman is required to register as a sex offender due to a 2005 felony conviction in Alaska for Sexual Abuse of a Minor 3rd Degree. This conviction is due to when Inman was 25 years old, he provided alcohol and then sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl. Inman was originally arrested for Sexual Assault of a Minor with Penetration 2nd Degree. Inman also has a 2007 conviction for Failing To Register As A Sex Offender. However, he has not had any further criminal convictions since then. Due to these factors, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office has assessed Inman as a Level 1 sex Offender and he is considered at a low risk to re-offend. This notification is being made due to Inman registering as a Transient/Homeless sex offender and he must check in with the Sheriff’s Office on a weekly basis. Adam Lee Inman is a white male, 5-foot-9, 236 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
