pud3Officials with Mason County PUD No. 3 say failed insulators on Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) high voltage transmission lines near Shelton were the cause of two power outages for over 4,000 customers in south Mason County on Saturday. The damaged insulators were on BPA transmission lines that feed electricity to a substation that serves the south Mason County area.
