The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Level 3 Sex Offender who has absconded from his registration requirements. According to a bulletin, 19-year-old Tristin Allen Wayne Barringer is required to register as a sex offender for convictions of Child Molestation 1st Degree and Incest 2nd Degree in 2011. This conviction was due to Barringer at age 14, sexually molesting a 6 year old little girl that was known to him. Because Barringer has absconded from his registration requirements, he is considered at a high riske to re-offend and the Sheriff’s Office has raised their assessment of Barringer to Level 3 – the highest level.
Barringer is wanted by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office. He is a white male, 6-foot-1, 170 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. If you see him or know of his whereabouts, do not approach him, but call 9-1-1.
