dion jerome OBIA wanted sex offender from Grays Harbor County has been seen in Mason County. According to a sheriff’s office bulletin, 45-year-old Dion Jerome OBI has absconded from his registration requirements from the Quinault Indian Nation, Grays Harbor County and has been seen hiding on the Skokomish Indian Reservation in Mason County.

OBI required to register as a sex offender for pleading guilty in 1999 to Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor in District Court of Western Washington. This conviction was due to OBI at age 28 years old, sexually assaulting and molesting a 6 year old little girl that was known to him. Because OBI has absconded from his registration requirements, he is considered a HIGH RISK.

OBI is assessed by the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office as a level 1 sex offender, but due to his absconded failure to register status, his previous failure to register conviction and his actively hiding his whereabouts from law enforcement, he is viewed as a Level 3 Sex Offender. This is the highest level given to a Sex Offender, meaning that the subject is at a HIGH RISK to re-offend.

OBI is wanted by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office and has multiple warrants for his arrest. If you see him or know of his whereabouts, do not approach him, but call 9-1-1.

Dion Jerome OBI is a Native American male, 5-foot-9, 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
