A wildfire has been reported in the Lake Cushman area. The “Gibbon Creek Fire” is reported in steep terrain “several miles past the High Steel Bridge” and at last report has burned an estimated two acres. A 20-person hand crew has responded. The fire was reported at 5:35 PM Sunday. We will update this story as details become available.
