Contractor crews are preparing to pave newly widened areas of State Route 3 in Belfair as a part of ongoing widening and safety improvements.
On Monday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., crews will conduct weather-dependent paving work. This work will include placing a compressed gravel base and new asphalt. Completed driveways will also be paved in various locations along the corridor.
Crews will not need to close lanes as they conduct this work. However, drivers can expect intermittent delays as construction vehicles enter and exit the worksite. Drivers will also continue to see a reduced 25 mph limit between Romance Hill Road and the northern end of the project limits.
