The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reports the remains found on a Forest Service Road Wednesday have been identified and a suspect has been arrested. The victim is Kerry Hagelin. The suspect was arrested on a homicide charge. Formal charges are pending against the suspect whose name will be released after making court appearance on Monday.
The remains were discovered on Forest Service Road 2572 near the Lena Lake trail head. about 2 PM Wednesday. An autopsy was scheduled for Friday.
