The Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking input on possible improvements to highways in five counties including Mason County. WSDOT has an online survey where you can provide your opinion on corridors such as Highway 3 through Shelton, Allyn and Belfair. There are specific questions on the Highway 3 intersections with Johns Prairie Road, Lakeland Drive, North Bay Road, Clifton Lane/SR 300 and Log Yard Road. You can also leave specific ideas and comment highways in other counties. The Belfair Bypass is also included in the survey. You have until midnight Friday.

People who use state highways in Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Mason and Thurston counties are invited to participate in an online survey to help prioritize congestion relief measures for these areas. The Washington State Department of Transportation and local partners are asking the public for feedback on strategies that have been identified to help ease traffic congestion in these five western Washington counties.

“We’re asking for input from the people who regularly use these congested areas,” said Dennis Engel, WSDOT Planning Manager. “Their feedback will help us determine where to prioritize needs statewide.”

The survey is open until midnight Friday, June 2.
