The three elderly brothers arrested in Seattle for possessing child pornography own property outside Shelton and one of them reportedly lived there until last year. Edwin, Thomas and Charles Emery were arrested after a relative found photos and videos of child pornography in the home they shared in north Seattle. Similar images were reportedly found in a home owned by a now deceased fourth brother, Donald Emery.

Donald Emery owned two parcels outside Shelton. One parcel is listed as a “vacation cabin” which is adjacent to 14 acres of undeveloped property also under Donald Emery’s name. Donald and Charles Emery are said to have lived in the cabin until 2016. The properties are off Highway 3 northeast of Shelton, overlooking Oakland Bay.

KIRO 7 reports that the brothers are also being investigated for a possible connection to the 2009 disappearance of Lindsey Baum. A flier about the missing 10-year-old McCleary girl was reportedly found in the Shelton home and Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s investigators are looking into whether there is a link between the brothers and Baum.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Seattle Police and the statewide ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) task force with this investigation. Chief Deputy Ryan Spurling told MasonWebTV Powered by HCC there is a lot of speculation about possible connections to several cold cases but nothing definitive at this point.
