A sex offender has moved to River Hill Drive in Belfair. A sex offender information bulletin from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office says 40-year-old Brian Leroy Group has lived within Mason County and is required to register as a sex offender due to a conviction last year for Residential Burglary with Sexual Motivation. This conviction stems from Group at the age 38 entering a strangers home unlawfully, then going into the room of a 9-year-old female child, unzipping his pants, pulling out his genitalia and began fondling himself.
Due to these factors, the Sheriff’s Office has assessed Group as a Level 3 Sex Offender – the highest level – and he is considered at a high risk to re-offend.
Brian Leroy Group is a white male, 5-foot-6, 162 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
And again, the Mason County Sheriff’s Offce says Group has moved onto NE River Hill Drive in Belfair.
