Ballots for the Nov. 7th General Election will be mailed to voters on Tuesday, October 17th. As soon as voters receive their ballots, they can begin depositing them into a ballot drop box that are available 24 hours a day.

With the addition of two new permanent ballot drop boxes this year – one in Union at the Texaco Station at 1031 E McReavy Rd and the other in Grapeview at the Horton Community Center at 4350 Grapeview Loop Road, there are now eight drop boxes throughout the county.

If you choose to mail your ballots, please be sure to mail them early as they must have a postmark no later than Nov. 7th. According to election officials, every election, then receive too many ballots that have been mailed too late and not postmarked in time to be counted.

If you are a registered voter and do not receive your ballot by Oct. 25th, please contact the Election’s Office for a replacement ballot at 360-427-9670 ext. 470 or visit www.MyVote.wa.gov to download a replacement ballot.
