Pumpkins will be flying Saturday as Hunter Farms hosts the Annual Union Pumpkin Catapult Contest.
The competition is part of PumpkinFest at the historic farm and starts at noon. These wood crafted pumpkin catapults and trebuchets compete for builder skill, accuracy, and showmanship.
Last year, teams from Shelton High School, Rainier High School and West Sound Tech competed with Rainier winning the distance competition and the accuracy competition.
