A sex offender has moved to the Dayton Trails area. A Mason County Sheriff’s Office sex offender notification bulletin says 30-year-old Adam Michael Humphrey has moved within the 100 block of West Cloverdale Place in the Dayton Trails area of Shelton. Humphrey is required to as a sex offender due to a 2010 guilty plea in Whatcom County to one count of Rape of a Child 2nd Degree. According to the bulletin, this conviction stems from when Humphrey was 23 years old, he had sex with a 13-year-old female that he been texting for two weeks. Humphrey also has a 2006 conviction of Attempted Rape of a child 3rd Degree. That conviction, also in Whatcom County, stems from when Humphrey was 19 years old he had sex with a 14-year-old female that was known to him.
Humphrey is assessed by the Washington State Department of Corrections offender release notification as a Level 3 Sex Offender and the Mason County Sheriff’s Office concurs with the assessment. This is the highest level given to a Sex Offender, meaning that the subject is at a high risk to re-offend.
Adam Michael Humphrey is a white male, six feet tall, weighing 185 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes.
