The Shelton football team held off Mt. Tahoma Friday 13 to 12 winning their second game of the season.
The Highclimbers’ Hunter Bourgault kicked two field goals and an extra point, and Luke McPhee found Zach Jonker in the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown.
Shelton also had three interceptions: two my Jason Kenyon (his second game with two picks) and one by Anthony Boren.

The difference in the game were missed extra points by the T-Birds.

Shelton finished the season 2-and-8, winning their last two games.

The North Mason football team lost their season finale Friday to Clover Park 44 to 19. The Warriors jumped out to a 13-0 lead before Reese Smelcer got the Bulldogs on the board with a two-yard TD run. CP added two more TDs before the half and lead 26 to 7 at the break.
The boys from Belfair got their second score early in the fourth quarter when Ryan Nogues took a Shawn Ward pass 19 yards to the end zone.
The teams each added a touchdown with Smelcer scoring from a yard out for his second TD of the game for North Mason.
The Bulldogs finished the season 4-and-6.
For the second time in two weeks, the Mary M. Knight football team lost to Crescent. The Loggers beat the Owls this time 64 to 6. The team from Joyce racked up over 500 yards of offense and had a 40 to 6 lead at the half. The boys from Matlock end the season with a 4-and-5 record.
