The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide in Hoodsports. Limited information is available at this time but initial reports says Deputies and Detective responded to undisclosed area on Hoodsport at approximately 6 PM Tuesday and found a 62-year-old female deceased at the scene. According to authorities, there was evidence of blunt force trauma to the victim. A 25-year-old male was taken into custody and booked into the Mason County Jail for Murder. The suspect should have first court appearance this afternoon. The investigation continues and more details are expected later today.
