Mason County is lifting burn restrictions at 8 AM Thursday, October 1, 2020. A news release says recent rainfall and current weather conditions have “moderated” and reduced fire danger. Land clearing burns and residential burning may resume after 8 AM Thursday. However, residents should visit the County’s outdoor burning regulations. And remember, residential burning is prohibited within the Shelton City Limits and Shelton Urban Growth Area (UGA).
