Mason County Public Health reported four new cases of COVID-19 in the County on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 and adjusted the County’s total number of cases due to a duplication. The health department also said none of the new cases were related to the outbreak at Fir Lane Health & Rehabilitation. The number of active COVID-19 cases is now 57. The adjusted number of confirmed cases in Mason County is 480.

The October 6th, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news release says: “Since the last release (10/5/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Four (4) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. Following further investigation of yesterdays cases, we found a duplicate case. The data below and our total case number has been edited to reflect this. This brings the total to Four Hundred Eighty (480) positive cases in Mason County.”
