Mason County Public Health reported 39 new cases of COVID-19 in the County on Monday, November 23, 2020. This number covers the weekend and is the highest number reported in a day in Mason County. There are now 96 active cases of COVID-19 in the County with four people hospitalized. Mason County’s rate per 100,000 during the prior two weeks is now 209 – based on a population of 64,980 and 136 new cases in the last 14 days. On Friday, that number was 171.

The November 23rd, 2020 – 4:00 p.m. news report says: “Since the last release (11/20/20), Mason County Public Health was notified of Thirty-Nine (39) additional Mason County residents that tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to Seven Hundred and Fifty-Seven (757) positive cases in Mason County.”
