Loss for NM Softball; SHS Track & Field Results
The North Mason fastpitch softball team wrapped up the regular season Friday with a 13 to 0 loss to North Kitsap.

The Vikings held the Bulldogs to two hits and a walk. Kendall Mathes had one of the hits. Jenna Markuson had the other hit and walked once. NM was unable to get runners past second base.
North Mason drops to 9-and-10 on the season 4-and-10 in the Olympic League. The Bulldogs are now 6th in the standings since Bremerton beat Kingston Friday to take over 5th place. The girls from Belfair are now waiting to see if they get an at-large bid in the District 2/3 Tournament next Friday at the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey.
The Shelton track and field teams competed in the 2A Evergreen Non-Qualifier Meet at Rochester High School Friday. The Highclimber boys finished 4th in the team scoring while the Lady-‘Climbers were 5th.

Bailey Underwood won the girls’ 100-meter hurdles and was 6th in the 100 meters
Caleb Brennan won the boys’ 1600 meters.
Serenity Hubbs won the girls’ high jump.
Carter Paysse won the boys’ high jump.
Fran Castorena Ochoa finished 3rd in the girls’ high jump.
Benton Frankie took 2nd in the boys’ high jump and 8th in the javelin.
Robert Rice was 2nd in the boys’ long jump.
Trevor Rodeback took 4th in the boys’ discus.
Robert Knight III placed 4th in the boys’ long jump.
Mahalah Leclair-Hernandez was 4th in the girls’ javelin and 5th in the shot put.
Cameron Thomas took 5th in the boys’ 200 meters and 6th in the javelin.
Korie Cobb finished 6th in the girls’ 100-meter hurdles.
Sophia Larson placed 7th in the girls’ shot put.
Francesca Burnett was 7th in the girls’ javelin.
Carter White was 8th in the boys’ 800 meters and 1600 meters.
