Skokomish Valley Roads Reopened

Mason County Public Works reports that the road in the Skokomish Valley closed by flooding have reopened. This includes Skokomish Valley Road and Bourgault Road West.

A Flood Warning remains in effect for the Skokomish River. According to the National Weather Service, the maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM Friday was 17.3 feet. Forecasters say the Skokomish will “oscillate” around flood stage before starting to rise again on Monday reaching a maximum value of 17.6 feet late Monday evening.
