A 76-year-old Tahuya man died after the truck he was driving struct a tree and a ditch on State Route 300 (North Shore Road) Tuesday.
The Washington State Patrol say Charles G. Robson, 76 of Tahuya was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma after his westbound truck left the roadway to the right and struck a tree just east of Sand Hill Road about 5 PM. The truck ended up in the ditch. Robson died at the hospital.
Cause of the crash remains under investigation.
