High School Sports Results from 1/8/26

Hoops Win for SHS Girls; Loss for SHS Girls Bowling

The Shelton girls’ basketball team beat Aberdeen Thursday 66 to 38. The Highclimbers trailed the Bobcats by five in the first quarter but ran away with the game after that leading by as many as 32. Shelton had three players score in double digits and two of those players recorded double-doubles. Janelle Krise led the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Cedar Wiley had 21 points and 13 rebounds. Rosa Leclair-Hernandez finished with 12 points. Olivia Swanson came away with 7 steals to led the Highclimbers’ defense. Shelton is now 10-and-1 on the season, 2-and-0 in the Evergreen Conference. The Highclimbers play at Capital Saturday on MasonWebTV Powered by HCC.

The Shelton girls’ bowling team lost to Tumwater Thursday 1501 pins to 1385. The Highclimbers host Aberdeen Tuesday at Westside Lanes in Olympia.
