There is a threat of river flooding Sunday through Monday for the Skokomish River.

According to the National Weather Service, moderate to heavy rainfall over the south slopes over the Olympics will start Saturday and continue into Monday. Snow levels remaining around 5000 to 6000 feet through the weekend will start fall to 3000 to 3500 feet by Monday.

The Skokomish River will begin to rise on Saturday and could reach flood stage late Sunday.
