Four MMK Basketball Players Make All-League

Four Mary M. Knight basketball players have been named to the Coastal 1B Basketball All-League teams.

Cloey Fletcher made the Girls’ First Team. The senior guard also surpassed the 1,000-point mark in scoring this season.

Senior post Maelynn Nayaard was named to the Girls’ Second Team.

Senior post Andiana Ziegler was among league girls to receive an Honorable Mention.

And junior forward Gabe Walters received an Honorable Mention among the league’s boys’ basketball players.

The Lady Owls finished the season with a 12-and-12 record, falling to Wahkiakum on Thursday in the District 4 1B Girls’ Basketball Tournament.

The MMK boys’ basketball team went 7-and-11, finishing in fifth place, just short of making the District 4 Tournament.
