Moderate to heavy rainfall is forecast over the south slopes of the Olympics on Wednesday. Snow levels initially around 2000 feet Wednesday morning will rise to 5000 feet by Wednesday afternoon. This will cause the Skokomish River to rise beginning Wednesday and the river could reach flood stage as early as Wednesday morning.
