High School Sports Report from 4/9/26

MMK Track & Field Results

The Mary M. Knight track and field teams competed in the Henrie-Weisel Invitational Thursday at Raymond. The Lady Owls placed 6th in team scoring while the boys from Matlock were 8th.
Top MMK finishers:

Lexi Stamper won the girls’ shot put and was 2nd in the discus.
Bella Buck won the girls’ javelin and was 3rd in the discus.

Ryder Lake took 4th in the boys’ 800 meters and 6th in the 400 meters.
Gabe Buck finished 4th in the boys’ long jump, 5th in the 110-meter hurdles, and 8th in the 300-meter hurdles.
Chase Tupper placed 6th in the boys’ shot put.
Gabe Walters was 8th in the boys’ discus.

Mary M. Knight will compete in the Chehalis Activator on April 17th & 18th.

Baseball: Port Angeles at North Mason 1 PM; Shelton vs. Centralia at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma 6 PM
