Loss for SHS Softball; SHS Baseball Postponed
The Shelton fastpitch softball team was shutout by Tumwater Wednesday 4 to 0. The Thunderbirds held the Highclimbers to four hits: one each by Abby Fauula, Cassandra Tyler, Hailey Schuffenhauer, and Lexi Rowland.
The T-Birds were led by Sarah Stevens who hit a solo home run and pitched seven shutout innings with 12 strikeouts and only two walks as Tumwater improves to 7-and-4 on the season, 4-and-3 in the Evergreen Conference.
Shelton now has an 8-and-5 overall record, 4-and-4 in EVCO play. The Highclimbers play at Aberdeen on Friday.
The Shelton at Tumwater baseball game scheduled for Wednesday was rescheduled to 4:30 PM Thursday due to field conditions.
