The North Mason fastpitch softball team knocked off Bremerton Friday 11 to 5. The Bulldogs’ Sydnnie Imlay was 4 for 5 at the plate with a home run, a double and three RBI. Faith Porter was 2 for 3 with a double and three RBI. Taylor Madison was 2 for 5 and batted in two runs. And Zoey Holdorf had two RBI. Addyson Roy pitched seven innings for NM and struck out 16 with on one walk. The girls from Belfair improved their overall record to 7-and-7, 3-and-5 in the Olympic League. North Mason plays a doubleheader at Sequim on Monday.
The North Mason boys’ soccer team lost to Bremerton in overtime Friday 5 to 4. Luis Gutierrez scored the Bulldogs’ first goal in the 23rd minute. Antonio Gaspar Gonzales put NM up 2 to 1 in the 30th minute. Keenan Bartosovsky got North Mason’s third goal in the 54 minute. Three minutes later, Diego Ramos found the net to give the Bulldogs a 4-3 lead. However, regulation ended with the match tied 4-4 and the Knights won with a goal in stoppage time of the sudden death overtime. North Mason is now 3-8-and-1 on the season, 2-and-8 in the Olympic League. The Bulldogs host Kingston on Tuesday.
In a three-team Evergreen Conference meet Friday, the Shelton boys’ track and field team was a point behind top finishing Centralia in team scoring while the Lady Highclimbers finished 3rd.

Madison Lohmeyer won the girls’ 1600 meters and won the 3200 meters with a season best time of 12:49.81a.
Hailee Nadeau won the girls’ 800 meters with a season best time of 2:50.19a.
Claire Warnock won the girls’ 100-meter hurdles with a PB of 16.08s.
Katelyn Sartori won the girls’ long jump.
Justice Bloomfield won the boys’ 110-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 17.54a seconds, won the 300-meter hurdles, and won the pole fault with a personal best 9-00.00.
Waylon Ogg won the boys’ 200 meters with a personal best time of 23.15a seconds.
Silas Baker won the boys’ javelin with a personal best 143-05 and took 2nd in the high jump and was 3rd in the boys’ long jump with a PB of 17-07.75.
Cali Ronald placed 2nd in the girl’s 300-meter hurdles.
Jadyn Smith took 2nd in the girls’ 100 meters with a PB of 13.52a, and was 3rd in the 200 meters with a PB of 28.05a.
Nathan Vogel finished 2nd in the boys’ 400 meters with a season best time of 47.65a seconds.
Trayson Bartholomew took 2nd in the boys’ 1600 meters with a personal best time of 4:45.65a, was 2nd in the pole vault, and 3rd in the high jump.
Fletcher Henry was 2nd in the boys’ shot put with a personal best 41-10.00.
Addison Aldrich finished 3rd in the girls’ 400 meters.
Owen Carow was 3rd in the boys’ 200 meters with a personal best time of 26.13a seconds.
Hogan Ollenburg took 3rd in the boys’ 400 meters with a personal best time of 1:01.38a.
Noa Tuitea finished 3rd in the boys’ shot put with a personal best 41-03.00.

Roman Stigall was 3rd in the boys’ pole vault.

The Shelton baseball team couldn’t keep up with Aberdeen Friday as the Bobcats completed a three-game season series sweep of the Highclimbers with a 14 to 5 win over the ‘Climbers
Shelton did have a 4 to 2 lead after three innings. However, six Highclimber errors, six Aberdeen batters hit by a pitch and five walks didn’t help the ‘Climbers maintain that advantage. The Bobcats scored 12 runs over the next four innings for the win behind Aidan Baker who was 4 for 5 at the plate with a home run. Sam Schreiber was 3 for 4 with a double and three RBI. Mason Hill batted in three runs. And Donavaan Hedgpeth had two RBI.
Highlights for Shelton included Silas Hoff for 2 for 2 with a double and two RBI. Drew Helser batted in a run. And Cam Winans was 2 for 4 with a double.
The Highclimbers drop to 9-and-6 overall, 4-and-6 in the Evergreen Conference. Shelton plays at W.F. West Tuesday.
The Shelton fastpitch softball team was held to two hits and lost at Aberdeen Friday 10 to 0 in five innings. The Highclimbers with hits were Hailey Schuffenhauer with a double and Lexi Rowland. Shelton now has an 8-and-6 overall record, 4-and-5 in the Evergreen Conference. The Highclimbers play at Black Hills Monday.

The Mary M. Knight baseball team lost a Naselle Friday 17 to 1. The Owls were held to two hits and are winless on the season. MMK plays at Hoquiam JV on Monday.
