For decades, the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce has proudly celebrated the individuals, businesses, and organizations that make Mason County thrive. Nominations are now open for the 2026 Annual Awards, with five distinguished categories: Business of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Boss of the Year, Citizen of the Year, and Nonprofit of the Year. The community is encouraged to submit nominations online through September 30 at masonchamber.com/nominate, where full award descriptions, nomination criteria, and a list of past recipients are also available.
All nominations will be reviewed by the Chamber’s Member Services Committee, with three finalists per category advancing to the final ballot. Once approved by the Board of Trustees, final ballots will be distributed to the full Chamber membership. Members in good standing will have the opportunity to vote, with one vote per category. Winners will be announced live during the Chamber’s Annual Awards Gala, taking place Friday, January 15, 2027, at the Skookum Event Center at Little Creek Casino Resort. Additional honors for Volunteer of the Year and the President’s Choice Award will also be presented during the celebration.
All community members are welcome to nominate, and businesses are encouraged to share the opportunity with staff, customers, and partners. Whether you are recognizing a standout colleague, a rising new business, or a nonprofit making a difference, your nomination helps highlight the achievements shaping Mason County’s future.
