The Olympic National Park has a new superintendent: Sarah Creachbaum. Creachbaum replaces Karen Gustin, who retired in March after more than 30 years with the National Park Service. Creacbaum comes to the Park after being superintendent of Haleakala National Park on the Hawaiian island of Maui. Before that, she was superintendent at War in the Pacific National Historical Park on the island of Guam and American Memorial Park on the island of Saipan. Creachbaum’s National Park Service career also includes stops at Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks.
