NM Wrestlers Take Klahowya Klassic; League Bowling Tournaments Rescheduled

NM Wrestlers Take Klahowya Klassic

North Mason wrestling team takes the Klahowya Klassic. The Bulldogs’ team score was 164.5, ahead of Orting which had 153 and host Klahowya’s 137. North Mason’s Zac Joaquin took the Championship at 120 pounds. Rene Gaspar, Josh Sayler, Morgan Grewell, Tehyvan Goodwin, and Chase Davis were second in their weight classes. John Day and Brian McCarty placed third. And Cameron Niesen, Grant Hunter and Tommy Marsh wer fourth.

League Bowling Tournaments Rescheduled

Last week’s weather postponed many sporting events including the Olympic and Narrows leagues bowling tournaments. The qualifiers for next Saturday’s West Central District Tournament have been rescheduled for Monday and Tuesday at All-Star Lanes in Bremerton. The Olympic League bowling Tournament is Monday at 1 PM. The Narrows League Tourney is Tuesday a 1 PM. The District Tourney is being held at Pacific Lanes in Tacoma with the State Tournament set for February 3th and 4th at Narrows Bowl in Tacoma.
