Two were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 3 in Belfair Sunday. The State Patrol reports that a 2005 Saturn Vue was southbound on SR-3 about 5:45 PM. At milepost 26, the SUV drifted through the turn lane, crossed the northbound lane, left the roadway, flipped and came to rest on its top in the parking lot of Randy’s Short Stop.
The driver of the Saturn, Sebastian Lopez Zacharius, 17 of Belfair, was transported by aid car to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
His passenger, Domingo Lopez Zacharius, 11 of Belfair, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The Trooper’s report indicates that Sebastian Lopez Zacharius faces charges of Negligent Driving 2nd Degree, No Valid Operator’s License, and Allowing a Child Under 16 to Ride without a Safety Belt.
