Bremerton Man Airlifted after SR-302 Crash
A Bremerton man was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after his car left Highway 302 and struck a tree south of Belfair Saturday morning. According to the State Patrol, the 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass was eastbound on SR-302 just before 10 AM. About a half mile from the intersection with Highway 3, the Cutlass left the road and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
The driver, Daniel Lee Fredericksen, 52 of Bremerton, was airlifted.
The Trooper’s report indicates speed was a factor in this crash.
Georgia Woman Airlifted after Crash in Brinnon
A woman from Georgia was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Saturday after the truck she was in rolled over on U.S. Highway 101 in Brinnon. The State Patrol reports the 2000 Ford F-150 pickup was northbound on 101 about 11:30 AM. At milepost 302, which is in Brinnon, the driver lost control of the truck and crossed the center line. The Ford left the roadway to the left, struck an embankment and rolled onto its top.
The driver, James N. Parker, 34 of Brinnon, and a four-year-old boy were transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton while the other passenger, Naomi J. Daniels, 54 of Bainbridge, Georgia, was airlifted.
Cause of this crash is under investigation.
