Tuesday’s wind damaged Pioneer School District’s new middle school which is under construction. According to Superintendent Marty Brewer, crews recently put up trusses over the gym and common area. About 7 AM, wind knocked down the some of those trusses. No one was injured and Brewer told KOMO News he doesn’t think the wind damage will cause much of a delay.
In February of 2015, voters in the Pioneer School District approved a $25.4 Million construction bond bond to replace the District’s Intermediate/Middle School and expand the existing Pioneer Primary School.
