Snow Closing Schools – Updated 9:30 AM

Snow is forcing schools to close in Mason County. As of 9:30 AM, North Mason School District joins Shelton, Pioneer, Mary M. Knight, Hood Canal, Grapeview, and Southside in canceling classes today.

North Mason School District: Closed, No AM preschool, Buses on snow routes. Secondary students already picked up will be returned home on snow routes after accounted for at school.

Skokomish Tribe: Closed

Due to winter weather conditions, Timberland libraries in Aberdeen, Centralia, Lacey, Olympia, Shelton and Tumwater are planning to open one hour later today at 11 AM.
