Summer Coed Softball League Results

Shelton Parks and Recreation’s summer coed softball league wrapped up another competitive season on August 15. Seven teams have been enjoying the summer weather on the diamond since June 12.

After completing round robin play on August 3, all teams were seeded into the single elimination championship tournament. Top seed Castle & Coleman Logging received the first round bye with their 10-1 regular season record. Other first round results included Shelton Athletic Club defeating Brad’s Concrete, Sunshyne and Roses Lularoe besting Camco, and Steph’s Espresso over Fuddpuckers. The semifinal matchups included Shelton Athletic Club defeating Castle & Coleman Logging and Sunshyne and Roses Lularoe defeating Steph’s Espresso. The championship was awarded to Sunshyne and Roses Lularoe by holding on to a one run lead in extra innings to best Shelton Athletic Club.
