The Port of Allyn Commission held a special meeting Monday. Purpose of the meeting was to hold a public hearing on the Port’s
Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements. Executive Director Lary Coppola and Commission President Judy Scott made a presentation on the Port’s plans that include developing a Regional Destination Youth Sports Complex, bringing water and power to the Allyn Marina, completing the Sargent Oyster House restoration, developing Sweetwater Park, building a trail system linking Belfair State Park and Theler Trails, developing a business/light industrial park, and building a skateboard park at Beards Cove.
