The Shelton fastpitch softball team lost a non-conference game to Forks Thursday 13 to 2. The Lady Highclimbers are 2-and-2 on the season. They open South Sound Conference play Monday at Peninsula.
The Shelton boys’ soccer team suffered its first loss of the season Thursday dropping a two-nil (2 to 0) decision at Gig Harbor. The Highclimbers are 3-and-1 on the season, 2-and-1 in the South Sound Conference. They travel to Central Kitsap Saturday.
