
Two Bremerton residents were injured after crashing their motorcycles on Highway 106 near Trails End Road.
The Washington State Patrol reports the two Kawasaki motorcycles were eastbound on SR-106 about 8 PM Sunday. At milepost 16 (five miles west of Belfair), nearing the end of a passing zone and entering a curve, both motorcycles attempted to pass multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed. Both bikers lost control and their motorcycles “went down.”
The riders were a 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man. Both were transported by aid car to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
Both motorcyclists were cited for recklas driving.
