[VIDEO] With a Mason County resident on the list of those suffering severe lung illness linked to vaping, the Mason County Board of Health discussed banning vaping Tuesday. The discussion started with the County’s new Health Officer, Dr. Daniel Stein.
Later in the meeting, Mason County Commissioner Kevin Shutty asked for the Board of Health’s support in changing the County’s current prohibition on the use of tobacco on county property to include vaping.
As mentioned in the discussion, more information will likely become available prior to the Board of Health’s next meeting which is 3 PM November 26, 2019.
