Pumpkins will be flying Saturday in the 10th Annual Union Pumpkin Catapult Contest presented by the North Mason Chamber of Commerce and Hunter Farms.

Competition runs 12 PM to 2 PM. This year’s teams are from Rainier High School, West Sound Tech and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Each team will show off their engineering skills and compete by tossing pumpkins with the trebuchets built by students. See who has the best design. How far a pumpkin can fly. And which catapult is most accurate.
MasonWebTV Powered by HCC will also be broadcasting the competition live on our Facebook page. That’s the Union Pumpkin Catapult Contest noon Saturday October 26th at Hunter Farms.
