The Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce is offering a small group travel trip to Ireland in May 2020.
“It’s not just a destination, it’s a new way of seeing things,” says Chamber Executive Director Heidi McCutcheon. “Touring the world allows us to better understand one another. Traveling with a group gives some extra securities; it also creates bonds for people in our community. We want our neighbors to experience this history and culture together.”
Travelers will depart from Seattle on May 25, 2020 for the nine-day trip. The trip begins with three full days in Dublin where travelers will explore and visit castles and other areas of interest, concluding with a ferry ride touring the Iveragh Peninsula. They’ll then spend one night in Limerick, where travelers will be given the opportunity to enjoy sightseeing, a boating tour of the River Shannon and much more. After departing Limerick, travelers will go to their next destination of Galway for three days. While in Galway, travelers will experience a tour of the city and local landscape which will provide the tourists with the best views and scenery. On the return trip to Dublin, travelers will tour and view many historical landmarks including Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland. Upon their arrival to Dublin, leisure and souvenir shopping time will be provided and travelers are encouraged to individually tour the Jameson and Guinness factories. The following day, travelers will depart Dublin and return to Seattle.
The cost is just $2,899 per person and includes seven nights of accommodations, nine meals including daily breakfasts and special dinners, transportation, taxes, and flights.
