The Mason County Commission is holding a public hearing on the County’s 2020 budget at 9 AM Monday. The budget totals $119,896,959 with $49,581,229 in the Current Expense and $70,315,730 in special funds.

The budget includes over $13.2 Million for the Sheriff, $2.2 Million for Community Development, nearly $1.3 Million for District Court, almost $1.7 Million for the Prosecutor, just shy of $2 Million for Juvenile Probation, and $4.2 Million under Non Departmental.

The County Commission needs to adopt a balanced budget by December 31.
