A Belfair woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 300 at Sand Hill Road just after midnight Sunday.

The Washington State Patrol says a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu was eastbound on State Route 300 about 12:15 AM. Just each of the intersection with Sand Hill Road, the Malibu passed a third uninvolved vehicle “using the oncoming lane at a high rate,” lost control and struck a westbound 2015 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
The driver of the Chevy, a 54-year-old Belfair woman, was transported to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
The driver of the Toyota, a 27-year-old Port Orchard man, was not injured.
A press memo indicates that the cause of the crash was reckless driving by the Belfair woman.
