
Thursday night, Arla Shephard Bull was appoint to fill a vacancy on the North Mason School Board. Shepard Bull was one of three to apply to fill the Director District 5 seat previously held by Craig Patti who moved out of the District in September.
Currently, Arla Shephard Bull is Marketing Coordinator for Mason Health in Shelton and lives in Allyn with her husband and two-year-old son. She previously worked as a newspaper reporter for numerous publications including North Mason Life, the Kitsap Sun, the Belfair Herald, and the Shelton Mason County Journal.
Shephard Bull will fill out the remainder of Patti’s four-year term on the school board, serving through at least the next General Election.
North Mason School Board President, Laura Boad, said the selection of Arla Shephard Bull over the other two applicants (Crystal Perez and Donald LePere) was one of the most difficult decisions to make.
