
In Saturday’s three-team track and field meet at Phil Pugh Stadium in Belfair, North Mason fell to North Kitsap by a combined score of 195 to 88 (boys: 101 to 44; girls: 94 to 44) and lost to Central Kitsap by a combined score of 178 to 91 (boys: 71 to 56; girls: 107 to 35). However, several Bulldogs topped their events.
Averie Dupont won the girls’ 100-meter hurdles and was 2nd in the 300-meter hurdles.
Noah Hasselblad won the boys’ 1600 meters.
Aiden Simons was 2nd in the boys’ shot put.
Josh Simons finished 2nd in the boys’ javelin.
Nathan Fjeld took 2nd in the boys’ high jump.
Conrad Berg was 2nd in the boys’ triple jump and 3rd in the long jump.
Joshua Ford placed 2nd in the boys’ 110-meter hurdles and 3rd in the 300-meter hurdles.
Amelia Borkenhagen finished 3rd in the girls’ 100-meter hurdles and triple jump.
Addilyn Varick took 3rd in the girls’ discus and 3rd in the shot put.
Trevon Simons took 3rd in the boys’ 200 meters.
Kezlie Thygesen was 3rd in the girls’ 1600 meters.
North Mason will participate in the South Sound Froshshowcase Wednesday at Ingersoll Stadium in Olympia and in the Olympic League Championships Thursday-Saturday at Bremerton High School.
