The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Mason County from Thursday evening through late Saturday night. According to forecasters, heavy rain in the Olympics Thursday through Saturday will force sharp rises on the Skokomish River with flooding possible. Also, excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
